Could it be that one of the main reasons is that Snapchat has managed to keep its “tribe values” largely intact? That might make it feel like a safe, tight-knit space for younger users — a kind of digital hangout where they can be authentic without the pressure or intrusion of outsiders, especially compared to the larger, more public platforms. Therefore staying true with their core, most valued features feels just like being home.
